(University of Sydney) Macquarie University, UNSW, University of Sydney and University of Technology Sydney are pooling resources through a Sydney Quantum Academy to support research and industry collaboration on quantum technology to support the development of a strong quantum economy in Sydney.The SQA will facilitate jobs, discoveries and investment in a diverse field including quantum algorithms and software, quantum theory and the development of quantum hardware. The academy has received the backing of the NSW Government.
