(Ryerson University - Faculty of Science) Ryerson University Physicist Dr. Michael Kolios, his former graduate student Dr. Michael Moore, and collaborator zebrafish model expert Dr. Xiao-Yan Wen developed a new mode of photoacoustic imaging called F-mode. This new mode selectively enhances photoacoustic image features based on the size of the object and the sounds it produces.
