(Lehigh University) A Lehigh University team led by industrial and systems engineering professor Frank E. Curtis has won a $250,000 support grant from Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), as part of the agency's Grid Optimization (GO) Competition. The competition comprises a series of challenges meant to modernize energy grid software through the development of new algorithms. Teams will submit their code in April for the first of two trial events.
